Hello everyone, hopefully you all had relaxing break! Here are this month’s updates (posting a few days early because a lot of upcoming projects are time sensitive!).
| Lunar New Year Event 2025 First started in 2022, BreakingBEARriers hosts a Lunar New Year cultural concert for Dublin residents at the Dublin Senior Center every year. Performances often feature traditional song, dance, and/or music from various cultures and ethnic minorities, reflecting the rich history and diversity of the Lunar New Year. In past years, we have worked with the Dublin Rotary, PatelCo Credit Union, and enjoyed the attendance of members from the Dublin City Council. We’re looking forward to our third annual concert! | Pass it Forward Breaking Bearriers is excited to launch Pass it Forward, a drive aimed at reducing waste and making educational resources more accessible! What: We will be collecting AP Prep Books, SAT/ACT Guides, Textbooks and Notebooks. Where: Dublin High School: College and Careers Center, Academic Resource Center (ARC) and Library! | Winter Clothing Project 2024 This project was a huge success! We ended up collecting over 400 articles of clothing and around 20 pairs of shoes! Thank you to everyone who donated, washed, folded, mended, and transported the clothes! |
